Independent guide · updated from the live brand store
Party tableware, sorted by the occasion you are actually planning
Creative Converting has been making disposable party goods for decades, and most of it now reaches shoppers under two labels: Creative Converting itself and Trendware. The catalogue is wide enough to be genuinely confusing — the same plate exists in two dozen colours, and the same colour exists in six kinds of table cover. This guide breaks the range down by occasion so you can see the shape of it before you start filling a cart.
Every number on this site is read off the live brand store, so what you see here is the part of the range that is actually in stock and priced today. Lines that have sold through are left out rather than shown as unavailable — a seasonal catalogue empties and refills several times a year, and an empty shelf is not useful information.
There are no product pages here and nothing to add to a cart. What this guide gives you is the map: which occasions are covered, what kinds of tableware each one runs to, what the packs contain and what the range costs. When you know what you are looking for, each section links straight to that part of the brand store.

Start with the occasion
Ten sections, each one a working part of the catalogue rather than a marketing label. The counts and price bands below are what the section holds right now.

Baby shower and first birthday
Soft-palette collections built as sets, sized for an afternoon party.

Wedding and bridal
Rehearsal dinners, showers and the day-after brunch, in muted palettes.

Kids birthday
Themed collections — unicorns, farm animals, gaming, dinosaurs and more.

Adult birthday and milestones
Milestone numbers, navy and gold, black and gold, classic patterns.

Fall and Thanksgiving
Harvest patterns, oval dinner plates and covers for long banquet tables.

Christmas and holidays
Christmas, Valentine’s, St Patrick’s and Easter, in one section.

NFL team tableware
Officially licensed tableware in team colours, by division.

College team tableware
University tableware for tailgates, game days and graduation parties.

Solid colour tableware
One plain range in a long list of shades, made to be mixed.

Everyday tableware
Small packs and low prices for the parties nobody plans in advance.
The solid-colour line
Under the Touch of Color name the brand keeps one plain range in a long list of shades, and everything in it is meant to be mixed: the same shade turns up on table covers, cutlery and cups so a table can be built in a single colour or two. This is the backbone of the catalogue, and it is where most people end up once the themed collections run out of the exact size they need.

How much to buy
Disposable tableware is bought by the pack, and packs rarely match the number of guests. These are the ratios caterers work to; round up to the next pack rather than down.
| Item | Per guest | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Dinner plates | 1 per guest | One heavy 9-inch plate per person for a sit-down meal. A buffet where people go back for seconds needs 1.5. |
| Dessert plates | 1 per guest | Cake is served once. If there is also a dessert table with more than one thing on it, count 1.5. |
| Beverage napkins | 2 to 3 per guest | The small ones go fastest — they are used at the drinks table, under glasses and for spills. This is the item people most often under-buy. |
| Lunch or dinner napkins | 1.5 per guest | The larger size is for the meal itself. One each, plus half again for a long event. |
| Cups | 2 per guest | People put a cup down and lose it. For an event with both hot and cold drinks, count two of each. |
| Table covers | 1 per table | A standard 8-foot banquet table takes a 54 x 108 inch cover. Round tables and cake tables each need their own. |
| Cutlery | 1 set per guest | Forks alone are enough for cake and most buffets. Add knives only if something needs cutting on the plate. |
How to read this guide
Occasion first, colour second
The themed collections are designed as sets — plates, napkins and covers in one pattern. Start there, and fall back to the solid-colour line for anything the theme does not make.
Watch the pack size, not the price
A pack of 24 plates and a pack of 48 napkins sit next to each other at similar prices. The per-guest cost is what matters, and it is rarely what the shelf price suggests.
Seasonal lines empty early
Graduation and summer patterns sell through weeks before the season ends and are not restocked. If a party is more than a month out and the pattern matters, buy the pattern early and the plain goods later.
Questions people ask before they buy
Is this the official Creative Converting website?
No. This is an independent guide with no connection to the manufacturer. It exists to explain how the range is organised; the brand store on the marketplace is where the goods are actually sold.
Why do Creative Converting and Trendware appear together?
They are two labels covering one catalogue. Older stock and the plain Touch of Color goods carry the Creative Converting name; most of the newer themed collections are listed under Trendware. The goods sit in the same brand store and coordinate with each other.
Are the counts on this page current?
They are read from the brand store and rebuilt with the site, so they reflect what was in stock and priced at the last build. Prices move daily and are shown here as bands rather than exact figures for that reason.
Why is my party theme missing?
Because nothing from it is in stock at the moment. Whole seasonal sections — graduation, summer, patriotic — can sit empty for months between runs. They come back; this guide will show them when they do.
Can I mix collections?
That is what the solid-colour line is for. Themed plates with a plain table cover and plain napkins in a matching shade is the standard way to stretch a collection that does not make every item you need.
How does this site make money?
Links to the brand store carry an affiliate tag, and a qualifying purchase earns this site a commission at no cost to you. Nothing on the site is ranked or hidden on that basis — see the disclosure page.
